Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the JWLS Live Commerce platform operated by JWLS Technologies Private Limited. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform" — the JWLS Live Commerce software, including web app, mobile app, storefront, and APIs.
  • "Seller" — a jewellery merchant who registers an account to run live shows.
  • "Customer" — an end-user buying from a Seller via the Platform.
  • "Live Show" — a real-time video broadcast initiated by a Seller using the Platform.

2. Account registration

To use the Platform, you must register an account with accurate information. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Seller responsibilities

  • Sell only jewellery and related products that comply with Indian law and applicable export regulations.
  • Honour the prices and stock counts shown during live shows.
  • Ship products within 7 business days unless explicitly noted otherwise.
  • Issue valid GST invoices for every order.
  • Not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
  • Not misrepresent product quality, gemstone authenticity, or hallmark certification.

4. Connecting third-party platforms

Sellers may connect their Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, YouTube channels, and other social platforms to enable cross-platform live broadcasting. By connecting an account:

  • You confirm you own or have authorisation to use that account.
  • You grant JWLS access to read public data (comments, viewer counts) needed to deliver the live commerce features you've subscribed to.
  • You can disconnect the integration at any time via Settings.
  • You agree to comply with the third party's own terms of service (Meta Platform Terms, YouTube ToS, etc.).

5. Subscription + payment

The Platform is offered on a modular subscription basis. Sellers subscribe to individual feature modules (₹1,000-₹4,000 per module per month) and pay monthly via Razorpay or other approved gateways.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.
  • JWLS may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate shipping + payment information.
  • Comply with the Seller's return policy.
  • Not use the Platform for fraudulent transactions.

7. Acceptable use

You may NOT:

  • Use the Platform for illegal activities.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code.
  • Resell access to the Platform without written permission.
  • Send spam, malware, or abusive content via the chat or live show.
  • Scrape data outside of the documented APIs.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform's software, design, and trademarks belong to JWLS. Sellers retain ownership of their product images, descriptions, and brand assets. By uploading content, sellers grant JWLS a non-exclusive license to display + cache it for service delivery.

9. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that live shows will reach a specific viewer count on third-party platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube — whose availability is outside our control).

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JWLS's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) the fees paid in the 3 months preceding the claim or (b) ₹10,000.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify JWLS against claims arising from your violation of these Terms, your content, or your use of the Platform.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. JWLS may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice. On termination, you lose access to live shows + data after a 30-day export window.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
